Hey! I love the game! It’s a really well done bullet hell shooter, which i’m a fan of in general. So much that i actually own a vertical oriented arcade cabinet. This is where the problem with your game starts:
– it won’t accept any other resolution than the pre-configured16:9 horizontal resolutions. I run the arcade in 480×640, so i can’t even start it there.
– It seems there is no command line options to start the game without the setup window. I have a frontend (Mala) installed and start everything from there via Joysticks, so i need another keyboard to start it, which is quite annoying besides the fact of having to see windows on an arcade machine (Yes, i’m a purist there). Setting the setup values via a command line or an ini-file would be so much improvement there!
Any chance of integrating something according to that or have you already moved on?
thank you! I’m currently working on another shmup so I probably won’t have time to add those options for DU2, but they are great suggestions that I’ll try to add into the next game (and maybe even work them into DU2 then) 🙂
